Very vibrant, I notice you have a fondness for some of the older schools of art style, particularly I notice an almost celtic influence.

If I may be so bold, I think the figure in this could have done with having the same strong contrasts as the background does because it looks washed out compared to the background, indeed I would have personally done it the other way around entirely, high contrast figure, low contrast background.

I love the symbolism you've used here, I just think you need to use contrast a bit more effectively.

Oh, I agree entirely (and I am never afraid of a bit of crit, it's a compliment, imo). I would like to re-paint this, and take my time about it, which was my intention I think, but having small child distracted me (for several years now, lol). I think your suggestion will be of great use, thanks so much.

I love paleolithic art and symbolism of all kinds, it just brings me a lot of joy to play about with. :)

It's just a suggestion but if you like symbolism, you might like reading the EMGzine. It's a free e-zine monthly and they always have a myth and symbols article in there which I personally find fascinating, plus they publish themed writing and poetry from people each month so you might also find it interesting as a writer. :smile:
